Renovation

The project involves the renovation of a seaside villa located just a few kilometers from Rome. The main request from the clients was to achieve a modern and minimalist style while still maintaining the typical character of a beach house. This request directed the design towards subtle references to traditional elements of the area that reflect the surrounding landscape, creating a formally clean container where a few key materials take center stage. The living area, characterized by cement floors and lime plaster finishes, features a double-height space with the bedrooms overlooking it. The staircase connecting the two levels was reimagined as a monolithic element, entirely in concrete, with a distinctive detail: a rope railing.
