The restyling project arose from the need to renovate and better organize an open space that was characterized by incomplete elements that did not interact with each other. The intervention focuses on four areas that were enhanced by custom-made furniture, designed by us and crafted by skilled carpenters, where the vertical line is reinterpreted each time to adapt to the function. The goal was to hide unsightly elements, such as the air conditioning unit, or make otherwise wasted corners usable.

For this reason, the project includes a bookshelf with a perforated door that conceals the air conditioning unit and radiator while allowing airflow and can be opened when needed. Two doors with vertical wooden slats hide the storage space under the stairs, while at the entrance, the same slatted structure integrates with a mirror and a drawer on one side, and on the other, it houses shelves useful for the kitchen.

In the living area, a sliding panel addresses the lack of a proper place for the television due to the presence of a fireplace on one wall, numerous windows, and a radiator on the other. Completing the fireplace wall is a bookshelf in wood and metal.
