APPARTAMENTO PG-23
Renovation

An apartment organized around an articulated open space that encloses various areas, each characterized by different lighting solutions: suspended lights define the dining and conversation areas; an embedded LED profile marks the distribution space; adjustable spotlights illuminate the more technical zones. The renovation has a minimalist appearance but required particular attention to the design of the execution details and the search for innovative technical solutions: disappearing grilles and mosquito nets for the living room windows, recessed skirting boards, full-height glass dividers suspended on hidden tracks. It also features a ducted air conditioning system and a home automation system for managing the installations.

The kitchen, originally narrow and long, was merged with a small adjacent dining room, creating a single open space that connects to the living room but can be filtered by large full-height sliding glass doors when needed. A change in flooring material distinguishes the kitchen’s work zone from the less technical dining area, while maintaining continuity with the other spaces in the home.
